UPDATE – French VPN Server (Roubaix)

TUVPN News Add comments

Hi Everyone,

We wanted to update you on an issue we are having with our French VPN server.

On Saturday 26th June, our server in Roubaix, France was taken offline by the hosting provider. This was due to a dispute they are having with the Reseller that arranged the server hosting for TUVPN.

We are still awaiting an update from the reseller regarding the settlement of their dispute and the reconnection of our VPN server. As yet we are being given no concrete timeframes for resolution of this situation.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused our customers. This has come as a surprise to us and been out of our control.

How does this affect our customers?

  • All shared IP account holders will be unable to access the VPN network through the Roubaix server. All other global servers are fully operational and unaffected by this isolated instance.
  • All customers with a Roubaix dedicated IP account will be unable to access their VPN service.

What are we doing about it?

  • We are obviously trying to reinstate a French server (current or new) as soon as we can.
  • All customers with a Roubaix dedicated IP account will be offered a replacement dedicated IP account in another territory until a French server is reinstated. You may wish to take a shared IP account instead. We will be happy to oblige.
  • Affected dedicated IP customers will also recieve an email informing of your options at this time.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and will look to resolve this situtaion as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact out support team if you have any further questions.

Best Regards,
